Dog Photography Workshop

Hi! I'm Kaitlyn, an internationally award-winning pet photographer based here in Maine. I specialize in creating adventure sessions that celebrate dogs just being dogs, while telling the story of the incredible bond they share with the people who love them.

After being a photographer for nearly a decade, one of my favorite things is helping other photographers grow.

This isn't just about getting images for your portfolio, it's a hands-on learning experience designed to help you become a stronger dog photographer. We'll spend time in my studio with education and then head outside and put everything into practice with real dogs.

Whether you're brand new to pet photography, looking to build your portfolio, or ready to refine your skills, this workshop is for you.

Throughout the weekend, we'll photograph several dogs in a variety of sessions, including natural portraits, lifestyle images, action shots, and moments between dogs and their people.

I'll walk you through my entire approach, from finding the best light and angles to bringing out each dog's personality and creating images that feel authentic and full of emotion. We'll talk about working with different breeds, reading dog body language, composing stronger images, and all the little details that can completely transform your photography.

My goal is for you to leave with more than just beautiful portfolio images. I want you to head home feeling confident, inspired, and excited to create meaningful dog photography of your own.
