Experience the joy of adventure with your pup through Venture With Dogs Photography! These photography sessions capture your dog in their natural habitat, outdoors around golden hour for the most flattering lighting. Through my unique, doggie-centered approach, you'll have tailor-made photos that capture your pup's true personality and your special bond. I put an emphasis on storytelling while I create artful portraits of your dog. An adventure location is what we make it, and is fully customizable to you/your dogs needs.
My approach to business is different - no annoying sale calls or hovering. I won't lure you in and then switch things up on you. Instead, I'm there to provide guidance, answer all of your questions, and help you make the best choices for your needs. Unlike some pet photographers, you will leave with final digital images and tangible products.
As a full-service photographer, I want more for your digital images. Kaitlyn is the heart and soul behind Venture With Dogs Pet Photography, located in Lisbon, Maine. She combines her deep love for dogs with a natural talent for capturing authentic, timeless moments through photography. Most recently, she has been voted one of Maine's "Best of the Best" pet photographers in 2024 (four years in a row!), and has won not just one, but SEVEN international awards at the 2024 International Pet Photographers Competition. With an approachable style and years of experience, Kaitlyn creates relaxed, enjoyable sessions that highlight the unique connection you share with your dog. Inspired by the beauty of Maine's landscapes, every session is tailored to showcase your dog’s personality in a way that feels genuine and memorable. Venture with Dogs is more than just photography, it’s about celebrating your adventures together and creating lasting images you’ll treasure for years to come.

about the Photographer
All sessions include an online gallery that you can view from the comfort of your home. Within the portal you can download the images that came with your package and order your wall art and products. Most clients typically invest $1800-$3000+ into their dog portrait session.

We meet at the tailored location 60-90 minutes before sunset for dreamy lighting. With my doggie-centered approach your dogs comfort, happiness, and safety is my top priority. I come packed with treats, toys, and special tricks to get your dog to look at the camera. On or off leash, your dog will explore into guided "poses". Every session includes lifestyle and fine art portraits, action shots, doggie and me (yes you can join!) and anything in between.

You will have access to the exclusive welcome and pricing guide that walks you through the full process. You'll pick which package works best and will be sent a wide range of location suggestions for your session.

The Signature Adventure Session
$1400 (including travel)
Tailored "golden hour" session (up to 90min)
Leash removals if needed
Online personal gallery of at least 35 final images
15 images of clients selection to keep
(2) 11x14 fine art mounted prints of clients choice
Additional upgrades/packages available
A required 25% deposit is due upon booking (deducted from session fee)
p.s. Senior dogs over the age of 10 will receive 10 4x6 prints complimentary!
